Description

Bricks is a Bristol based social enterprise that works with local communities and creative communities to programme collaborative activities and secure the spaces our communities need to thrive in the long term.

Our flagship project, St Anne's House, is a creative community hub grown from the ambitions of the community of St Anne's and the creative communities of the West of England.

This includes social prescribing rooms with local doctors surgery, massage, play therapists, a mushroom farm, artist studios, artist collectives, a theatre R&D space, a cooperatively-run gym, a print collective, music label, community spaces for hire and a community/artist led public programme.

Local communities of St Annes have long held an ambition for youth provision in this area, and we are now recruiting for an experienced youth worker to develop and implement a high quality programme of youth work and youth focused activities based at St Anne's House.

The focus of this new role will be to deliver an open access youth offer one evening a week (in partnership with Creative Youth Network), deliver Holiday Activity Fund projects (following pilot in summer) and, crucially, work with local young people to design and shape future projects.

As a creative and community hub, we have huge potential to partner on projects such as design summer schools, partnerships with large scale theatre organisations, and other youth charities, but not the capacity to build on these partnerships or the network of young people to engage with them.

This role will work with local young people, and other youth organisations, to create an engaging and dynamic offering.

The Youth Programme Producer will have a solid grounding as a Youth Worker, and be able to build on this in a producer/project management capacity developing the youth offer at St Anne's House, in collaboration with the wider team and partner organisations.

This role will be delivered with support from Creative Youth Network.
