**Our client is a fast-growing media services business.
The European Leadership Team are looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to join them to:

  • Lead and develop the legal function;
  • Provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice on a broad range of operational, commercial, compliance, governance, litigation, property and corporate matters; and
  • Assist the company with moving into new markets.

The role will report to the Group Head of Legal based in the US, with a dotted line to the European CEO, and will be supported by a team of external lawyers.

This unique and diverse opportunity will suit a motivated, versatile lawyer from a large company or a top-tier firm with a broad understanding of commercial law and solid international experience.

You will have strong leadership qualities and the ability to deal with problems pragmatically and logically.
You will be skilled at working in a competitive sector in a fast-changing environment. You will have excellent negotiation skills, good attention to detail and proven drafting ability.
Experience of the home entertainment, FMCG, service or construction industries is desirable, but not essential.
