A.C. Whyte and Co. Ltd have ambitious plans for the future and our Construction team is actively seeking experienced Site Supervisors.

The role of a Site Supervisor will be to assist and support the Site Manager in the overall management of their project whilst continuing to undertake hands on labouring tasks.

The Site Supervisor will ensure there is a safe environment for all to operate within, working with the labouring team to implement high standards of housekeeping in all areas and be responsible for managing labourer/drivers onsite to deliver high quality work in a timely, controlled manner.


Role Requirements:


  • Ensure there is a safe environment for all to operate within, working with the labouring team to implement high standards of housekeeping in all areas of the site.
  • Take responsibility for managing the Labourers/Drivers on site to deliver high quality work in a timely, controlled manner to meet program deadlines.
  • Ensure that there is a managed system for stock control on site, resulting in the correct levels of stock being available and stored appropriately.
  • In the absence of the Site Manager be responsible for all aspects of running the site. This will include conducting inductions, first aid, reporting of accidents, and ensuring the site in run in line with health and safety requirements.

  • Safety awareness and understanding is critical
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Professional work ethic
