About the role


You will be responsible for managing a small team to help deliver a varied programme of property improvement and fire protection works.


You will manage complaints and disrepair cases, ensuring these are dealt with efficiently and effectively, reducing the risks associated with damaging THCH's reputation and limiting compensation and disrepair claim costs.


You will effectively manage contractors and consultants delivering repairs, planned and capital projects, ensuring they comply with their obligations and take remedial action where required.


You will ensure that our customers receive an excellent service and are effectively consulted with and kept informed on all aspects of property services delivery, this includes attending and leading on resident consultation meetings for planned works.


You will be part of the office duty surveyor rota and the out of hours emergency repairs rota (for which an allowance is paid).

You may also be required on occasion to attend resident meetings/events (may be out of hours).


About you


You will have a degree or HNC in building construction/surveying or a related field or have equivalent skills witha number ofyears proven work experience.

You willhave an understanding ofresponsive repairs, voidsworks, planned and cyclical repairs, combinedwith experience of managing contractors and consultants.

You will have experience of Identifying and Managing Project Risks.

You will possess excellence in communicating progress and risks to key stakeholders, using plain language.
