About The Role:


The Administration Lead will offer a 'hands-on' approach to work and is responsible for managing an effective, patient centred clinical administration team.

You will be responsible for the operation of appointment scheduling / booking tasks as well as any other administrative tasks required for the service to run effectively and efficiently.

This includes reviewing monthly reports and data checking as well as liaison with GPs / consultants and other external agencies as required.


Working 37.5 hours a week, you could start from 8am and working no later than 7pm, Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday, the ideal applicant will need to flexible with their availability as we work on a rota.


You are responsible for maintaining staffing levels for all of the above administration duties through periods of annual leave and sickness, ensuring that the service is fully operational at all times.

You will also organise staff working rotas and annual leave requirements for all of the administration team.


To ensure all patients are discharged from the clinical service through the issuing of discharge reports and accurate completion of all correspondence on the outcomes of clinical appointments by the clinicians in a timely manner.


Support in effective Communication with the clinical teams and medical consultants to ensure appropriate clinical information is available for funding criteria.

Liaise with Referrers, CCGs, Consultants, Patient Booking Teams and other internal/external stakeholders.
