£30,000 to £37,000 per annum, Bristol, Permanent, Full time Monday to Friday flexible start between - 9am finish 4.30 to 5.30pm, 23 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension and Parking
An established and expanding company regarded as a market leader with over 40 years of expertise within their industry, supplying to large high value commercial contracts.
The purpose of the Estimator / Sales Estimator role is to produce timely and accurate quotations via the company estimating system for the full range of current and any potential products, allowing the maximum opportunity of gaining our customers business.
- Understanding and analysing all necessary technical and commercial issues that affect the detailing of quotations.
- Ensure maximum customer care through professional communication skills.
- Monitor our competition. (Market share, prices, quality, new products, service, etc).
- Reporting to the Head Of Sales.
- Responsible for maintaining the quotation system to ensure costs and specifications are accurate.
- Drive standardization of product range.
- Produce standard price lists for sales teams to work from.
- Work closely with engineering & procurement to drive margin benefit into business opportunities.
- Quotes OTIF
- Margin of sales achieved
- Quotation system is kept up to date
JOB HOLDER SKILLS AND SPECIFICATION:
- Knowledge of Sales & Marketing (KAM, BDM, Negotiation, Marketing, PR)
- Understanding of the commercial vehicle market would be ideal
- Strong commercial acumen with an eye for margin gaining opportunities
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HubSpot or other CRM systems
- Outstanding organizational and timemanagement abilities
- Excellent communication interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Problemsolving and decisionmaking aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability
- Degree level education or equivalent and or can demonstrate expertise in terms of previous
- Drive
- Fully focused to strive to achieve and deliver goals irrespective of obstacles.
- Negotiation skilled at preparing for and conducting negotiations, seeking a win
ensuring that the business interests are the primary consideration.
- Positive can do attitude willing to try new initiatives embrace new ideas and seeking to
- Strategic Awareness understands and considers the implications of decisions, assess all
others in the business and with customers.
