Description

Our client requires a Compliance Manager to design, manage and audit all processes relating to the operational compliance of all facilities of our client based at Heathrow.

Travel will be required to the clients other branch near Oxford. Driving licenseessential as well as ideally a Freight Forwarding Background.


Outline of the Role:
To ensure appropriate records are updated across core governance of the business, i.e. H&S, Security etc.

Be a key liaison between Operations, Customer Service and Warehouse, alongside other Department Managers

Ensure that people are engaged and aware of all compliance protocols across all departments for maximum adherence.

Responsible for creating and maintaining SOP's for all elements of Compliance

Primary overview of Customs training and audit requirements;
Ensure that all customs procedures are followed correctly for regimes that are currently held, with appropriate records maintained.

Secondary responsibility in assisting General Managers in creation of auditable trail in maintaining all appropriate records and ensure best operational practices relating to, but not limited to;

  • H&S procedures
  • Vehicle Maintenance
  • General Maintenance
  • Creation and Audit of Internal SOP's to determine relevance to operations
  • Assistance in updating HMRC regime documents i.e. amendment of ETSF or expansion of CAA Secure area
  • Fire Risk Maintenance
  • Site Security
