Forest School Teacher/Leader
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Forest School Teacher to join our team at Kiddie Capers Childcare.

As a Forest School Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outdoor education programs across multiple sites, immersing children in nature-based learning experiences.

You should hold a Level 3 Forest School qualification and a relevant up to date Outdoor First Aid qualification. We're looking for someone either full or part time. Our full-time hours are 40 hours, working shifts across a 5-day week. Our part time hours are negotiable. We're a family business so we understand you'll need to work around your family too.

Responsibilities

Curriculum Development: Design and implement forest school curriculum that aligns with early years educational standards and promotes experiential learning in natural environments.

Outdoor Education Delivery: Lead forest school sessions that encourage exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning opportunities for preschool aged children.

Safety Management: Ensure the safety and well-being of children during outdoor activities, including risk assessments, first aid preparedness, and supervision.

Environmental Stewardship: Instil a sense of respect and appreciation for the natural world through environmental awareness activities and conservation initiatives.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless integration of forest school principles into the overall childcare program.

Documentation and Evaluation: Maintain accurate records of forest school activities, child progress, and evaluations to track learning outcomes and inform program improvements.

Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in forest school education, participate in training opportunities, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the forest school program.

Pay:
£13.50 per hour

No less than 40 per week
