We are looking for an Academic Mentors who are experienced in supporting students KS3 & KS4.


The successful Academic Mentor will be working alongside teaching and support staff with options to support in a secondary school, providing support to students.


  • Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with young people in your care.
  • Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours and attitudes with all levels of learners.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of young people you are responsible for or encounter.
  • Academic knowledge to confidently support students through their studies and the challenges they might face.


If you are interested in this position, you will require an Enhanced DBS on the update service and an overseas police clearance if you aren't a UK National.


Any experience of supporting students with special educational needs or lower ability in a mentoring or tutoring capacity is highly desirable so please highlight this as applicable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
