An exciting opportunity exists for a Health and Safety Coordinator to support the delivery of Health, Safety and Environment within a Brand-New Distribution Hub in Aylesbury


We will be looking for you to drive our safety culture and contributing to the ongoing development of their safety management systems & procedures within the Warehouse environment alongside the Management team to make practical changes and improvements.


Ideally you will hold a NEBOSH or have 2 + years' experience within a H&S role in a Logistics/distribution environment and able to work confidently to educate the team on best practice and complete investigations.

08:00 - 17:00 - Core hours but will need to be flexible

The successful Health and Safety Coordinator would be responsible for:
Promoting Continual Improvement and driving an incident and injury free Company Safety Culture.
Supporting a safe and engaging work environment across the business.
Assessing and Reviewing Method Statements and Risk Assessments and offering mitigation measures on how risks can be reduced.
Coaching site teams on Health and Safety Matters and leading in house training with management, supervision and employees.
Investigation of incidents, accidents, dangerous occurrences, including reporting back to Senior Management and maintaining company statistics

Carrying out Regular site inspections and making changes to work practices to ensure compliance with both company policies and procedures and all relevant legislation.

Undertaking Internal Auditing and occasional supplier auditing with reports and follow up of findings.
Communicating Company Wide Health and Safety issues to the relevant teams.
To succeed in the role, the Health and Safety Coordinator will need to have the following skills and experience:
NEBOSH/Level 5 Diploma or above (or equivalent).
Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
Ideally, 2 Years experience in a similar position with practical HSE Experience in a warehouse.
Qualified or experienced in delivering HSE training packages such as inductions TBTs, Safety Alerts, RAMS and in house training.
Experienced in report writing
Competent with the use of Microsoft Office
