Management Accounts Assistant, Harrogate, £25,000, hybrid working.

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience of Management Accounts?


Our client based in the Harrogate area are looking for an Accounts Assistant covering cashbook, sales ledger, purchase ledger with elements of management accounts.


Skills Required:

  • Broad experience in an Accounts function including elements of management accounts.
  • Experience with the use of NAV and CRM desirable.
  • Strong communicator
  • High level of integrity & confidentiality
  • Team player but needs to be able to work independently.
  • Positive 'cando' attitude to learning.
  • Selfawareness of time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to plan ahead in all aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Banking and reconciliations
  • Regular bank reconciliations on the NAV System
  • Monitoring and processing refunds
  • Processing monthly expenses
  • Support to Purchase Ledger role including and not limited to reconciliations and invoice processing.
  • Support to Sales Ledger
  • Assisting with Travel and Orders
  • Systems housekeeping within the Accounts Team and other Adhoc tasks.
  • Audit prep assistance
  • Month End prep assistance
  • Support with Management Accounts
