What will you be doing?
This role is a mixture of customer obsession, evangelising new technologies, balanced with the art of possible.

This role will work with Service scrum teams to ensure best practice in refining requirements, prioritising the backlog, and orchestrating delivery.

The Product Owner will work with Digital Care Experience Managers to define best in class Service experiences, ensuring Vodafone UK exceeds challenging KPI's that make it a standout leader in Digital service.

You will be technically proficient and able to work with front end and back end developers as well as wider IT stakeholders for capabilities which require integration with downstream systems and services.

You will work closely with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that regulatory and legal needs are met, and any new propositions are supported in line with planned go-to-market activity.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Owns the product vision and key objectives for their product area ensuring this aligns to the overall Business goals.
  • Be an online Digital Care platform focal point of contact for the business, work with Digital Experience Managers and wider Stakeholders across the business to define User Stories for delivery into the Product Backlog; prioritised by business value.
  • Maintain the capability and optimisation roadmap broken down into lifecycle phases, tracked against agreed KPIs from inception through to completion / decommission.
  • Validate User Stories and their Acceptance Criteria are fit for delivery by the Team; convey the vision of User Stories for the Sprint delivery to the Scrum Team for commitment.
  • Inform Stakeholders across the business of the Scrum Team's commitment (or otherwise) of their User Stories and manage expectations.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience working as a Digital Product Owner in an Agile environment
  • Great presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills where you will be
  • Experience managing stakeholders and influencing decisions
  • Evidence of use of customer insight and ability to problem solve
  • Strong customer experience and strategic focus
  • Experience of Digital selfservice and customer service (desirable)
  • Experience defining and delivering MVPs, running AB tests (desirable)
  • Evidence of making data informed decisions
  • Sound knowledge of UX principles
  • Evidence of strong analytical skills to measure impact and identity trends
  • University degree or equivalent professional experience
