Edwards And Ward are currently recruiting for a catering assistant to help provide meals for a School in Bexley.

15 hours per week, 39 weeks

Statutory annual leave.

Previous catering experience is not essential but ability to learn, be flexible and be part of a great team working in a kitchen environment.

The main areas of the role are:

Prepare and serve food at the specified times and in appropriate quantities.
Ensure sound knowledge of the food to be served daily, together with the appropriate portion sizes.
To comply with the daily cleaning schedule.
To assist with all aspects of food preparation.
Maintain Health & Safety and Hygiene standards following the current legislation and company and site policy and procedure
Ensure that personal appearance and personal hygiene & basic food hygiene, including uniform and footwear in line with Edwards and Ward Company Policy.
To adhere to Client and Company policy and guidelines with regard child safeguarding.

An enhanced DBS will be necessary for this position. This will be paid for by Edwards and Ward for the successful applicant.

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
