Equifind are working with a leading property investment firm in London, who need an accountant to join the business for the next 6 months.


This is a brilliant opportunity to start straight away in a great organisation and assist them during a period of change and with the business year-end.

Some key duties and responsibilities for this accountant position include:

  • Prepare quarterly reports for designated entities such as variance analysis, VAT returns and management accounts
  • Manage quarterly period close procedures including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Produce yearend audit files for subsidiaries and be a point of contact
  • Review and authorise AP invoices for posting and validity for designated entities
  • Assist with the quarterly forecasting of rental income and overheads
  • Liaise with the tax team on any specific tax matters for designated entities
  • Prepare the trial balances for multiple entities
  • Prepare several IFRS disclosure financial statements
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when required
Experience & Qualifications

  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 13 years'PQE
  • Knowledge of reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Experience of working in the real estate sector would be beneficial
  • Experience of iXBRL would be advantageous
  • Used to working in a flexible and agile environment to meet deadlines

A market leader in the real estate investment space with a great brand name in this sector. The business has over £4 billion in its portfolio and a strong focus on the commercial real estate side.


The finance team has around 12 heads in the UK office so you will work closely with numerous people and become integral to the financial reporting.


The business is in stunning offices in London and requires someone willing to work in the office 4 times per week.

Salary

This exciting opportunity for an accountant will pay £300-£375 per day depending on background and experience.

We are looking for someone to start straight away in London so immediate or one week notice periods ideally.
