Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Duration:
Immediate start, possibly up to summer term

Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant with a Level 2 certification and considerable experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) children? Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at a nurturing Nursery unit within a primary school in Huyton.


Role and Responsibilities:
Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the Nursery team.
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.

Take initiative in supporting SEN students, including providing 1:1 assistance for short periods during the day, such as covering lunch breaks, ensuring their comfort and inclusion.

Collaborate effectively with teachers and other professionals to support student learning and development.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to the needs of all students.


Requirements:

Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Possess substantial experience working with Special Educational Needs students.
Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
Capable of providing 1:1 support for SEN students as needed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
