Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Location:
London (Fully Remote)


Salary:
Up to £60,000 + Very Generous Benefits Package

Global eCommerce Organisation requires a Azure Infrastructure Engineer to help be the glue between the companies Dev, QA and Product teams - enabling the smooth Continuous Build and Integration of new instances of systems and test environments.


Responsibilities:


  • Build, configure, administer and support infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams, Product Managers, and Business Owners to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.
  • Automate tools to monitor system health and reliability to support business process requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Communicate status and risks to the product teams.
  • Help automate and streamline operations and processes.
  • Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.

The successful Azure Infrastructure Engineer will have:

  • Cloud experience
  • Azure etc.
  • Networking fundamentals (WAN & LAN)
  • Cisco switches, Meraki Switches
  • Barracuda load balancers
  • Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • BAU operation
  • Disaster recovery
  • Security experience

The client is willing to take someone without all the requirements and train them up
