Title: School Family Engagement Officer

Pay: £85.00 per day minimum

Location: AberdareHours: Full Time

Monday to Friday 830am 3pm
The role is for one full term with view to this role becoming permanent**

The role:
What you'll be doing as a School Family Engagement Officer
-
Supporting and supervising learners with SEMH, SEBD, Heightened anxiety and challenging behaviour
-
Assisting learners at the start of the school day and when leaving at the end of the day
-
Assisting learners with their attendance
-
Working with learners on a 1:1 basis to assist with development and engagement
-
Supporting and engaging with learner's families
-
Assist learners at break time with their lunch
-
Engage learners with both classroom and out of classroom activities
-
Work in accordance to the school's behaviour management policies
-
At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or childcare settings - experience within an SEN setting would be beneficial

Registration with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
-
References covering the last two years (no gaps)

Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
