An opportunity has arisen for a highly enthusiastic administrator to join our Corporate Governance department to support the planning and implementation of the organisation's preparations for the Covid-19 public inquiry.


Supporting the Emergency Planning Resilience and ResponseManager, and the Director of Corporate Governance the successful individual will play a lead role in coordinating the Trust's response, ensuring we meet all deadlines, that staff from across the Trust are aware of the Inquiry and the role they need to play and to prepare reports on progress for senior management.

This post will also support the Corporate Governance function of the hospital with other projects and workstreams as required.


To be considered for this role you should have experience of working in a busy office environment, and have enhanced administrative skills as well as ideally experience of dealing with senior managers and external stakeholders.

You should be able to demonstrate that have experience of working autonomously and showing initiative in decision-making, and understand how to manage confidential information sensitively and professionally.

The role will be based at our Trust Headquarters, but may occasionally require travel to other sites. The option to work from home for a proportion of the time will also be available.

The post holder will support the planning and implementation of the organisation's preparations for the Covid-19 public inquiry. This will include
- supporting the Emergency Planning Resilience and ResponseManager and the Director of Corporate Governance to respond to the Covid-19 public inquiry making informed decisions within areas of responsibility;
- leading on specific work-streams/projects relevant to the public inquiry response and corporate governance functions;
- attending meetings to ensure a coordinated and planned approach, including the preparation of reports and maintaining a high professional standard at all times.
