Role Requirements:

Working with students in a Sports & Physical Activity focused role
Implementing and monitoring behaviour management strategies to support students with challenging behaviour.
Providing guidance and support to students in managing their emotions and developing positive behaviour patterns.
Providing onetoone mentoring and counselling to students who may be struggling with behavioural issues, emotional wellbeing, or social skills.
Supporting the inclusion of students with behavioural difficulties in mainstream education.

Working with the school's inclusion team to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.

Monitoring and evaluating the progress of students in relation to behaviour goals and objectives.
Intervening in crisis situations involving student behaviour and working to deescalate conflicts and ensure the safety of students and staff.
Experience supporting students in a sports or physical activity based activities
Ability to engage and build rapport with disengaged students at risk of mainstream exclusion
Relevant qualification degree, PT/Gym Instructor or relevant
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and pastoral staff
Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and support a range of diverse needs
