1st line support technician

Up to £27k per annum

We are recruiting for a 1st line support technician to join a leading managed IT services and telecoms business specialising in M365, hardware, telecoms, cyber security, and consultancy.


The 1st line support role is based out of the Petersfield office and is responsible for supporting SME clients with inbound IT issue resolution at 1st line stage.


This is an office-based role with 5 days in the office each week so proximity to Petersfield is integral for a successful applicant.


Responsibilities of the 1st line support technician role

  • Manage and support SME clients I.T. hardware and network
  • Attend to call outs to companies and individuals within the Hampshire area (pool cars included)
  • Provide remote and telephonebased support
  • Accurate logging of helpdesk submissions using Auto task

Experience

  • At least 2 years' experience within the I.T support industry across a variety of accounts
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, (Mac and/or Citrix preferred but not essential)
  • Experience administering Microsoft 36
  • Experience with active directory
  • Experience / awareness of firewalls, routing technologies and telephony is desirable
  • Must be able to drive to attend to call outs so a driving license is essential
  • Company pool car provided 3 points max
