We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our lively and friendly school team. The role would involve working alongside groups and individuals as directed by the year group leader.

We're delighted to have recently appointed some enthusiastic new teaching assistants who have been working with us since September and we also have many experienced teaching assistants.

_ What are the skills and qualities we need from our teaching assistants?_

• You will be able to see the positives in every child and build strong relationships with them to help them to achieve.
• You will be willing to learn some new skills to meet the needs of our children.
• You will have lots of energy, creativity and enthusiasm and will be physically fit enough to work indoors or out, all year round.
• You will be able to cope with the inevitable toilet accidents and illnesses that young children experience in school.

_ Hours and weeks per year_
The post will be term time only (38 weeks) for 26 hours 15 minutes per week.

Monday 8.45am to 1pm

Tuesday 8.45am to 1pm

Wednesday 8.45am to 3.10pm with a 30-minute lunch break

Thursday 8.45am to 3.10pm with a 30-minute lunch break

Friday 8.45am to 3.10pm with a 30-minute lunch break


This includes 2 1⁄2 hours per week providing lunchtime supervision cover.
