We are a small, local, but well known Charity, working across Leeds, Huddersfield and Bradford providing front-line emotional and practical support for those who need it.

We help them access the services that they need to make positive changes to their lives. Simon on the Streets remembers and engages those that so many forget.

Responsibilities within the role:

Income Generation_

  • Building relationships in the local community, spotting opportunities to deepen engagement, and secure fundraising partnerships with companies, events and groups and build a strong new business pipeline.
  • Working on the daytoday fundraising operations, managing existing corporate and community partnerships
  • Develop inspiring and effective income generation initiatives across all revenue streams to grow our supporter base, including community, corporate and event initiatives.

Drive and Develop the fundraising strategy_

  • Drive the fundraising strategy forward to meet income and fundraising targets, and to plan for the growth and development of income streams and opportunities for the future.
  • Produce, implement, monitor, and review fundraising initiatives, coming up with ideas and plans to improve on fundraising if there are any shortfalls
  • Work within fundraising budgets to support plans and provide effective reporting
  • Ensure fundraising income is effectively processed, recorded, and managed, working closely with finance and using the CRM system in place
  • Contribute to the organisational strategy, business, and operational plans.

Staff Management and team development_

  • Coaching & Supervision provide guidance, nurture and support for the Fundraising Administrator and identify development opportunities to enable learning and growth.
  • Provide clear direction and sound decision making to enable staff and volunteers to be effective in raising funds and securing support.
  • Holding regular team meetings and ensure planning and coordination of work is undertaken on a regular basis.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure volunteers that come through CSR and employee engagement programmes are coordinated and supported to have a positive experience.
  • Work together with the outreach team, to become a great custodian of the stories of the many individuals supported by the organisation, using their experiences to garner engagement and support and build strong relationships

CRM and Relationship Manager_

  • Ensure that all fundraising and supporter information is recorded accurately on the CRM and is conducted within relevant regulation and guidance.
  • Ensure prompt and appropriate acknowledgement of all donations, ensuring all information is accurate, up to date and well organised.
  • Ensure that all donor communications are managed appropriately, promptly, and courteously
  • To be a great champion for those in the Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield communities who choose to raise money on our behalf.
  • Work alongside outsourced specialists in marketing to contribute to the organisations tone of voice and brand identity across social media


This is a hybrid role, and we are flexible on the amount of time spent working from home and in the office.


Salary:
£28,500.00-£31,500.00 per year
