Gledhow is a super school with brilliant pupils, staff, governors and families.

We are a large busy school but the staff team work together closely and there is a family feel throughout school.

The staff and children are proud to be part of the Gledhow community and we work together to ensure excellent outcomes for our children.

This ethos is also embedded within Gledowls, our Before & Afterschool childcare provision.

We support our parents by offering wrap around care where our children can come to Gledowls, relax, enjoy a fun time of games, crafts and activities before and after school.

We are looking for Playworkers who are committed to making a positive difference to the lives of young people, helping them grow and develop in a nurturing and playful environment.

We cater for children from 4 to 11 years.

In return, we offer term time working and a competitive salary with all school holidays off.

We encourage continued personal development and offer training sessions to Playworkers, covering a variety of training eg safeguarding, health & safety, fire evacuations, team teach, various elements of SEN training, first aid, phonics, CPOMs and much more.

Our school website provides a wealth of information about our school.

The school is committed to keeping children safe and will stringently follow procedures to endorse this.

We promote equality, diversity and inclusion and want a workforce which reflects the population of Leeds.
