Broker Support - Cyber

Within this Broker Support position, you will work in the London cyber broking team, providing central support throughout the placement process.

You will be allocated a portfolio of clients and prospects.

Supporting the broking strategy set by the Lead Associate and fulfilling the roles and responsibilities as account handler or co-broker capacity as is required by the cyber team.


The Role
Placement Management

  • Manage compliance processing of contracts as per FCA and contract certainty requirements
  • Assist with loading of data into the relevant WTW Systems
  • Check quote slips prepared by the Mumbai team and ensure that they are "ready for market" in a timely manner. Striving to obtain all quotations for new and renewal business on quote slips.
  • Operational and Service Delivery
  • Support and deliver the end to end ongoing client service, adhering to standardised policies, procedures and service standards
  • Support the BU in accurate budgeting, forecasting and tracking of revenue
  • Deliver high levels of client service support in line with standard operating procedures
  • Communicate effectively with clients, associates, markets and others where appropriate to maximise service delivery levels
  • Working with senior colleagues in the development of service plans that define the engagement and timing of engagement with the client
  • Manage KPIs/SLAs to ensure targets are met
  • Coordinating tasks and providing cover when absence. Assisting with processing queries (Mumbai and bureaux) when required.
  • Finalising firm order MRC's for Account Handler's to submit on PPL for signing.
  • Ensure adherence to Group policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements
Client Relationship Management

  • Draw on expertise within specialist technical teams within the BU and across the Group for clients as required
  • Support senior colleagues to determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients' needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients
  • Accountability for client service and relationship development direct with individual clients and with specialisms across WTW
Broking

  • Ability to understand a client or prospect's business, situations, opportunities, problems and key issues
  • Manage relationships and support the placement negotiations with the insurance market
  • Assist with the preparation of client and prospect presentations
  • Identify appropriate markets and determine placing strategy
  • Create and grow relationships with underwriters in London and international markets
  • Participate in information gathering exercises
  • Participate in Insurer, client and wording discussions. Recording accurate meeting notes.
  • With guidance from the Lead Associate prepare and coordinate markets submissions (including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA's)). Completing the FINMAR form in real time (when responsible for market submissions to Insurers).
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with WTW's guidelines and procedures.

The Requirements

  • Delivering high levels of client service and broking in line with WTW operating procedures. Supporting timely client service delivery within the required performance metrics
  • Building effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers and external specialists
  • Proactively develop technical knowledge and capabilities through Cyber "onthejob" training and attendance of Insurer, Client and Wording discussions.
  • Working alongside Lead Associates, develop broking techniques, strong negotiation and influencing skills
