Full time and part-time Learning Support Assistants wanted If you're hoping for more regular work in a good primary school, we have the ideal role for you.

A school near the Halesowen and Quinton area is looking for two Learning Support Assistants to join them from March 2023 until the end of the academic year.

The family-orientated school's ethos is centred around care and nurture.

They strongly value the relationships they hold with parents, governors and outside agencies, recognising the importance of these relationships for the children.

They encourage staff to take continual professional development opportunities to ensure that they're providing the most up-to-date and effective education and support for the children.

There is one full-time and one part-time (3 days a week) position available.

Your day-to-day role will include:

  • Helping the children to stay focussed and on task during class hours, including helping the teacher to manage pupils' behaviour
  • Supporting small groups of children with their work during lessons
  • Reading with children and completing 11 interventions with children who need extra support in the afternoons
  • Recording and reporting the pupil's progress to the Teacher
  • Maintaining a safe a clean environment by getting the classroom ready and helping to clear away after lessons
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
