Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)

We looking to recruit an experienced Stores Operative to join our Facilities Management team at HMP Oakwood near Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in ensuring that day to day stock control takes place so that appropriate stock levels are maintained.
Operate a computer based stock control system so that correct data is recorded in a timely fashion and available as required.
Transport stock items to the required location so that items are available for timely use
Document accurately all work carried out in accordance with the company systems and procedures.
Dispose of damaged stock appropriately so that health and safety requirements are met.
Ensure the maintenance of security within the prison environment by compliance with security instructions.

Essential Skills:

A full driving licence
Good attention to detail

Desirable Skills:

Fork Lift Truck licence
Experience in manual and/or computerised stock control systems
