This is an exciting opportunity to join Melett Ltd, a dynamic, fast growing company. We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Care Administrator to strengthen our busy sales team based in Barnsley.


The role involves:

  • Being the first point of contact within the business to provide excellent customer service
  • Processing customer orders and back orders to enable they are despatched quickly and efficiently
  • Ensure proforma/advance payments are communicated and processed promptly by customers
  • Working with internal and external departments to check product availability and lead times
  • Dealing with customer concerns and warranty issues as required
  • Responding efficiently to requests from existing customers in order to maximise sales opportunities
  • Delivering customer service excellence to both internal and external customers
  • Proactively seeking new development opportunities from customers
  • Providing the highest level of customer service in order to build and maintain effective customer relationships to support the company sales objectives and targets
  • Undertaking general administrative duties and other ad hoc duties as required to support the efficient and effective operation of the sales office and wider company objectives.
To be successful, it is essential that you have strong proven experience working in a customer-focussed environment.

You must possess strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and be experienced in processing a high volume of complex customer orders with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.

You will also have a high level of customer service experience along with excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.

Automotive experience, an understanding of export activity and procedures. It would be useful if you have an additional European language but this not essential.

Melett supplies precision engineered turbochargers, core assemblies, repair kits and individual turbo components to the professional turbocharger aftermarket.

Melett operates manufacturing sites in the UK and China, with sales and distribution from the UK Head Office as well as facilities in Poland and the USA.


With in-house teams of Design, Development and QC Engineers, Melett is recognised as the quality, reliable supply partner by turbo repairers ranging from small turbo workshops through to volume turbo remanufacturing facilities.

Three times winners of the prestigious UK Queen's Award for Enterprise, 2006, 2009 and 2014, Melett currently supplies parts to turbo reconditioners in over 100 countries worldwide.
