Salary:
£21,225 per annum


Location:
Manchester, M2


Contract:
Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Shift hours: 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm you will need to be available for all


Williams Lea seeks a Multi Skilled Operator to join our team

Purpose of role:


The Multi Skilled Operator is responsible for delivering a first-class experience to our clients within the workplace facilities and the managed Document services at the Client.

The role-holder is responsible for the accurate completion of all tasks, delivered within the agreed service levels.

This is a hands-on role supports the regional Team Leader in managing the management workflow.


Responsibilities:


Reprographics:


  • To reproduce high quality documents to client specifications using high speed reprographic and finishing equipment.
  • Support operation to undertake all Document Service and Workplace tasks.
  • Collate & produce management information in a timely and accurate manner on the various tasks.
  • Full understanding of workflow processes and procedures.
  • Ensuring pride in work completed to the fastest, highest quality, including quality checking work.
  • Support colleagues and work as a team in order to achieve the best results for clients.
  • Actively support the client's environmental, consistency and security policies.
  • Booking all couriers
  • Monitor and replenish the consumables for all printers.
  • Calibrate all machines daily to ensure machine colour quality is kept to the optimum
  • Reporting issues as per procedure and escalating issues to team leader
  • Preparing files for scanning of hard copy files into PDF format and ensure all pages have been scanned.
  • Undertake additional duties as requested by management.

Client

  • Develop positive and professional relationships with our clients.
  • Create and maintain highest levels of client confidence by providing a flexible and responsive service, exceeding expectations where possible.
  • Take ownership for problems and ensure customer feedback and complaints are dealt with efficiently, with support from senior management.
  • Advising where appropriate on the best method of production and cost savings
  • To ensure all possible deadlines are achieved and managed in accordance with our client's service level agreement (SLA)

Technical skills

  • Willing to learn or have previous experience with records management tool.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills is a must.
  • Competent with Fiery Command workstation front end.
  • Competent with print drivers
  • Basic knowledge of Abode creative suite
  • Comfortable with digital telephone.
  • Competent with wire and comb binding (magna punch and manual closers)
  • Competent using a guillotine
  • Knowledgeable about routine maintenance and upkeep of equipment.

Health & Safety

  • Must undertake all health & safety training as required and complete Risk Assessments
  • Must continuously evaluate working areas for risks, including formal monthly audit log completion
  • Active participation in site or clientdriven H&S initiatives
  • Must take responsibility for reporting near misses and accidents

Special working conditions:


  • Able to climb mobile steps to reach a height up to 8ft.
  • Able to work in confined conditions.
  • Able to lift weight up to 10kgs.
  • Able to push and pull loads using mechanical aids.

The Package:
