My client is looking for a Governance Manager to support their team within a Housing Association based in the Midlands.

You will have the opportunity to provide support for the Director of Governance and Compliance and ensure my client's governance andassurance framework.

This opportunity will provide you with an extensive benefits package, including hybrid working with 3 days in office.
As a Governance Manager, your duties will include, but will not be limited to:


Key responsibilities:


  • Deputising for the Director of Governance and Compliance
  • Managing staff members within the Governance and Compliance team.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advising on governance and legal matters to the Board, Committees and the Executive Team
  • Advising on Data Privacy Compliance matters (GDPR) and Data Protection Officer (DPO)
  • Preparing and distributing of Board papers and minutes

Key skills:


  • Board support
  • Previous housing/notforprofit experience
  • CGI qualifications desirable but not essential
