SOLE HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR HNW FAMILY HOME IN HAMPSTEAD

Where:
Hampstead, London


Contract:
Part-time, Permanent hours per week)

We are working with a wonderful family of 3 to source a highly skilled, committed, and experienced live-out Housekeeper for their large 4-bedroom family home in Hampstead, North London.

The family are looking to appoint an upbeat, positive, and reliable sole Housekeeper who can maintain their home to the highest standard and is able to offer longevity.


Responsible for the general cleanliness and tidiness of the home, you will also be responsible for laundry, ironing, deep cleaning, liaising with service providers and tradesmen, as well as grocery shopping and errand running.

The ability to work autonomously and proactively are essential requirements for this role, and you must have excellent knowledge of how to care for luxury furnishings and surfaces.


DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Daily cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
  • Changing bed linen, making beds, and tidying and cleaning bedrooms
  • Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics
  • Polishing silver, glass, marble, and wood surfaces
  • Rubbish and recycling management
  • Liaising with tradespeople and service providers
  • Grocery shopping; shopping for household cleaning supplies
  • Preparing light meals & lunchbox prepping for the 5yearold
  • Receiving deliveries and organising laundry/dry cleaning
  • School pickup once or twice a week (if you can drive)
  • Adhoc duties as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:


  • Prior experience as a sole housekeeper in a highend private household
  • Fluency in English and eligibility to work in the UK
  • Hardworking, dedicated and energetic
  • High attention to detail
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work independently
  • Trustworthy, reliable and personable
  • Child friendly
  • DBS checked or willingness to be DBS checked
  • Excellent checkable references
