London

£40,000 to £47,500 + Excellent Benefits

We are currently recruiting for an Accident & Health Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very highly regarded and well-known brand in the Lloyd's insurance market.

Working within the company's Specialty Claims Division, the role will focus on proactively adjusting a portfolio of Accident & Health Claims, ensuring that you deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively adjusting Accident & Health Claims within your own claims authority, developing a thorough understanding of the claims within the A&H portfolio.
Nurture and maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Instructing and proactively overseeing Lawyers, Adjusters and experts from the company panel, whilst controlling costs and reducing claims leakage.
Ensuring delegated claims are managed effectively, with oversight of TPAs/Service Providers via regular reporting on key performance indicators, peer reviews, file reviews, and general sharing of best practice.

Key Requirements

Previous experience of handling Accident & Health Claims, or Claims in another complementary class of business.
Good understanding of policy coverage, benefits and exclusions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
