Claims Adjuster - Accident & Health
London
£40,000 to £47,500 + Excellent Benefits
We are currently recruiting for an Accident & Health Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very highly regarded and well-known brand in the Lloyd's insurance market.
Working within the company's Specialty Claims Division, the role will focus on proactively adjusting a portfolio of Accident & Health Claims, ensuring that you deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively adjusting Accident & Health Claims within your own claims authority, developing a thorough understanding of the claims within the A&H portfolio.
- Nurture and maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Instructing and proactively overseeing Lawyers, Adjusters and experts from the company panel, whilst controlling costs and reducing claims leakage.
- Ensuring delegated claims are managed effectively, with oversight of TPAs/Service Providers via regular reporting on key performance indicators, peer reviews, file reviews, and general sharing of best practice.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience of handling Accident & Health Claims, or Claims in another complementary class of business.
- Good understanding of policy coverage, benefits and exclusions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
