Throughout the UK the Group employs over 400 staff including pharmacists, skilled technicians, HR, IT, procurement, warehouse, and customer services staff.

We are looking at add a
Group Head of Facilities to oversee all aspects of our busy Facilities team.


As Group Head of Facilities your responsibilities will include, though will not be limited to:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to effectively manage and maintain our pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and distribution centres.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards pertaining to facility operations and safety.
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address any potential risks or noncompliance issues.
  • Preparing and managing the facilities budget.
  • Overseeing relationships with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of facility management professionals, including specialist engineers and technicians.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to plan and execute facilityrelated capital projects.
  • Driving and supporttin sustainability initiatives within the facilities.
  • Developing and implementing emergency response plans.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as operations, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.

  • Act as an ambassador for the business, presenting the Group in a positive way with clients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Work flexibly and efficiently to meet customer needs, whilst maintaining the highest possible professional standards.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in facility management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team, including specialist engineers and technicians.
  • Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and experience overseeing capital projects.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental regulations is desirable.

This role will be primerily based in East Kilbride however, you will be required to commute to all Group sites when required.
***_Pattern of work will be Monday-Friday, fitting between our core hours of 0500 and 2200._
