Robertson Bell are thrilled to be partnering with this educational institution, based in South London, as they recruit a permanent Finance Manager for their team.

This role is responsible for managing the full finance function of the organisation, includingregularly reviewing the finance and accounting policies and procedures to ensure effective use of their assets.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

Responsible for producing monthly management accounts from start to finish including cashflow forecasts and various financial models.
Playing a critical role in working closely with various stakeholders to present reporting information on the prepared budgets and provide relevant analysis on these.
Ensuring complete and accurate submission of statutory returns inline with SORP guidelines.
Lead the audit process which includes managing the relationship with auditors and producing relevant information needed.

Qualified as an Accountant with ACCA/ACA or CIMA
Proven experience within a similar position including responsibilities such as preparing statutory accounts and working with auditors.
Work experience in the charitable or educational sector is preferred.
Ability to communicate financial information to nonfinancial individuals.
Supervisory or mentoring experience of a small team.
