Description

We are looking for a Allocation & Logistics Lead to work with the Demand & Capacity. Modelling Team within Testing SC&L.

The Supply Chain and Logistics Team (SC&L) are responsible for the supply chain that enables the National Testing Programme by forecasting demand, procuring, storing and distributing LFD and PCR test kits, as well as returning samples to the labs through a dynamic post-test logistics network.

SC&L is transitioning from a mass testing response to a more targeted approach to protect the vulnerable, whilst at the same time providing a resilient organisation which has the flexibility to scale up its response to meet increased testing demand if needed.

This is an exciting, fast paced role that will have a significant impact on improving our operations, streamlining our processes and ways of working for the benefit of Test and Trace, UKHSA and the wider UK healthcare service
