Health Care Assistant

Contract type; Ongoing


Location:

MANCHESTER

Salary:
£10 - £13/HR

Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis.


As a healthcare assistant you will work as part of a team to deliver support to service users in various healthcare settings including care homes, hospitals and mental health facilities.

Your duties will include support with personal care and all aspect of daily living. You will offer support in a person-centred, holistic way, ensuring peoples safety and dignity is protected.

You will be integral to the day to day operations of the facilities you work in ensuring that risk assessments and support plans accurately reflect the individual's needs and wishes.


Although the role will be challenging it will also be highly rewarding and you can go to work each day with the knowledge you're making a difference to someone's life.


You will provide support for adults with a wide range of support needs including autism, learning disabilities, mental health issues, acquired brain injuries and behaviours of concern.

You will support individuals with activities of daily living, including maintaining their accommodation, prompting/supporting with personal care, food shopping and preparation and accessing the local community.

Experience is an advantage but not necessary as we will provide you with the required training to help you fully meet the needs of the residents.

  • Warrington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
