An exciting new opportunity has arisen due to the continued growth of our highly successful client based at their Head Office near Chester.
This is a role focusing on financial accounting and reports to the Financial Reporting Manager.The company have a strong reputation within their industry as a modern and innovative business and work with an outstanding portfolio of blue-chip clients.

This role is key to ensuring the continuing success of the Finance function against the challenges of business growth and will involve various aspects of financial accounting and is expected to expand with the growth of the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the management of financial data and helping design solutions for data flows and reporting
- Preparation and posting of month end journals and assisting with monthly ledger closure processes
- Timely completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including the fixed asset register
- Monthly management accounts preparation (internal reporting and external reporting to Group)
- Assist with production and consolidation of company budget and forecasting, liaising with various stakeholders
- Assisting with the production of the statutory accounts, information for the statutory auditors and information for the Group tax department
- Provision of management information to support financial and operational management
- Creating relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information flow
- Supporting and coaching site and Head Office administration staff
- Supporting with ad hoc investigation and project tasks
Key Qualities:
*ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
*Experience in accounts preparation, balance sheet reconciliation and budgeting / forecasting.
- Excel, a sound knowledge of spreadsheet writing and data analysis would be beneficial but not essential as internal training will be provided.
- Prior knowledge of IFRS16 would be advantageous but not essential.
