About the role
Balfour Beatty are currently looking for a
Administrator to join our Regional team based near
Reading
Within this role you'll be the front of house in Pass Office, greeting and coordinating visitors and site access, whilst also providing administrative support to Onsite Security team.
What you'll be doing
As a
Administrator, you will have the following accountabilities:
- Front of house greeting visitors and contractors
- Processing visit requests as issued by Onsite Security team, using client system
- Preparation and readiness of site and visitor passes for planned attendees on any given day
- Daily issue and collation of site passes at the end of the day and reorganisation for next day
- Assist with collation of vetting documentation to support Onsite Security team with vetting actions.
- Maintain a list of all contractor IT devices approved for site use
- Coordinate IT permits for visitors
- Issue car parking passes and maintain a register
- Ensure observance of project and site security rules, ensuring all suspected breaches are reported to the lead CGF and Balfour Beatty Security Manager
Who we're looking for
The following qualities/experience are essential:
- Friendly and approachable to assist visitors with navigation of site access processes
- Possess or be able to achieve government security clearance
- Ability to enforce security requirements as prescribed by the customer
- Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes with clarity
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines, with a flexible attitude towards work
- Excellent team player, able to work competently and independently without supervision
- Strong communication skills with good interpersonal and influencing skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (MS Word, Excel)
- Is a selfstarter who can manage their own time
