A financial services business, which offers a range of products that are really sought after right now (business to business) is looking for a Sales Manager to join and lead its Leeds based team.


Reporting to the National Sales Manager and working closely with the Sales Director, this role will manage a team of business development managers and sales development representatives.

A player / manager role, the position will also work operationally,getting stuck into the market place, winning new logos and leading from the front.

The products work with a complex, consultative sales cycle and they are often utilised by re-sellers. It is expected that applicants will have experience of navigating teams through consultative, multi staged sales cycles. Financial service or asset leasingexperience would be advantageous but not essential.


At a local level, the role will provide leadership to the Business Development Managers as you collectively grow the region and bring on board new customers.

It will coach, develop and manage the people within the teams to be the best that they can be.

Operationally, it will be inspirational with personal activity, achieving personal target and setting the example. It will be creative, producing local initiatives that sets the business apart from its competitors.

The role will also interpret and implementnational direction / strategy that is filtered down through the sales leadership to ensure that sales process and procedure is compliant with regulatory, industry and business policy.


If you have experience from business services or management consultancy which sells complex solutions, sometimes via partners and re-sellers then we would like to hear from you.

You should have proven, demonstrable experience of leading teams to go aboveand beyond targets and this should be present in considered, permanent employment that shows stability, longevity the ability to consistently maintain standard and activity over time.

It is likely that you will be educated to degree level or equivalent andit is expected that you will be taking an active interest in your CPD and career development, working to develop your skills, knowledge and style as a sales leader through your own development work.
