About us
A well-established Independent Electrical Distributor are looking for an assistant accounts payable to join their office in Crawley.
The business provides a wide range of products to customers, from their trade counter and by daily delivery service.
Person & Skills Required:
- Experience with purchase ledger
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own.
- Good Excel skills
Key responsibilities:
- Uploading invoices relating to materials purchased
- Entering overhead invoices
- Check PoD's on direct purchases
- GRN Checks
- Proforma payments
- Setting up new Supplier accounts
- Setting up new Customer accounts
- Inputting daily bank transactions onto the system
- Fuel card maintenance
- Supplier queries
- Monitor Finance inbox
- Reconcile credit cards and staff expenses
- Provide support to the assistant finance manager where needed
- Liaise with key members in the office
Job Type:
Part-time
Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
