An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated person to join Hub 9B and the Bronchiectasis and Cystic Fibrosis team as a Senior Administrator (secondment).


The successful applicant will work with the Bronchiectasis and Cystic Fibrosis team and be responsible for the administrative processes within this team.


This role will entail:

dealing with the booking of clinics and appointments, providing a professional service to patients over the telephone, liaise with GP's and other external clinical colleagues and other administrative roles as required, inputting information onto databases and handling patient records.

Attention to detail is vital and the ability to follow strict information governance procedures.


The successful applicant needs be able to confidently and competently work under pressure dealing with a large workload in a busy office.

An excellent telephone manner is required as the post holder is the point of contact for patients. The role also requires occasional face to face contact with patients.


Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills, together with an ability to prioritize workload and work flexibly under pressure to achieve deadlines.

Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital with an annual budget of approximately £500 million.

The Trust's secondary care service portfolio is comprehensive, covering the major medical and surgical specialties, routine and specialist diagnostic services and other clinical support services.

These services are provided primarily to a catchment population of approximately 600,000 in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area.


HUTH provides specialist and tertiary services to a population of 1.25 million extending from Scarborough in North Yorkshire to Grimsby and Scunthorpe in North East and North Lincolnshire respectively.
