Here's what you'll do
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance department, within a fast-paced creative agency environment.

The role will manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities across the commercial and compliance arms to ensure a smooth and accurate running of the business.


Commercial

  • Managing the opening and closing of jobs, including assisting the netting down of aged jobs on our finance system: SAP GUI
  • Client invoicing ensuring invoices are created quickly and accurately.
  • Maintain and update howtoguides for internal finance processes.
  • Run Finance Induction and refreshers for agency staff.
  • Maintain WIP and accrued balances.
  • Reconciliation of client accounts.
  • Assist the Commercial Accountants with any other ad hoc tasks e.g., running time and cost reports for reconciliations, moving time/cost transfers to correct jobs.
  • Assist with updating revenue forecast sheets ahead of biweekly meetings with Account teams from the forecasting system software.
  • Management of incomplete timesheets, ensuring 100% compliance across the agency
  • Assisting intercompany transfer of funds/costs and tracking the status of the request

Compliance

  • Raising purchase orders
  • First point of contact for any external supplier queries
  • Input of monthly invoices
  • Management of new supplier setup
  • Credit card management: issuing, queries, account closing.
  • Travel and expenses (T&Es) checking and approving.
  • Credit Control management
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • General Ledger and VAT analysis
  • Preparing journals

Here's what we're looking for...

  • Competent IT user within Microsoft systems including Excel and Word
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple work streams in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • A 'can do' attitude and show of initiative.
  • Approachable and responsive to both internal and external customers
  • Possess good written and oral communication skills.
  • Organized and efficient at keeping records.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to remain impartial and confidential.
  • Ability to learn bespoke systems quickly, in addition to the training and support from wider team.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience with SAP is advantageous.
