Civils Supervisor


Location:
Worthing, West Sussex

CCN Communications Ltd is part of a small group of companies held under Verevo Ltd.

Our business is primarily focused on building fibre infrastructure to light up and digitise towns, villages, and cities across the South; enabling emerging technology to thrive within the Fourth Industrial Revolution.


This role is responsible for working closely with the Project Manager and Operational Support, the primary purpose of role is to ensure that the gangs are working safely, compliantly and meeting quality standards as defined within SROH code of practice and contractual commitments on a day-to-day basis, within the time, cost, quality triangle.


  • Accountabilities_
  • Safe management of construction resources.
  • Quality standards are met as laid out in the contract specification and NRSWA.
  • Ensure works are completed during the permit conditions.
  • Complete site clear audits.
  • Management of labour resources and material.
  • Ensure build completion photos are taken.
This person should demonstrate resilience and confidence in a fast-paced environment. Being a team player is crucial and excellent communication skills are necessary to be successful in this role. You should have strong industry knowledge, and have the ability to coach our operatives to SROH standards. Understanding of reading and working with civils maps is critical.
