Product Owner, UK Hybrid / Remote.
Cyberhawk has an opportunity for a Product Owner to join our flexible, people focussed company.

We use drones and our iHawk software to keep people out of danger and reduce the carbon footprint of our energy and large capital project clients.

This is a UK remote role, but we gather in the Edinburgh (Ratho) office every 3 months or so.

However, if you live locally to the Edinburgh office and wish to come in weekly you would be most welcome.


About our Product Owner opportunity:

We are looking to hire someone with c 2-4 years of commercial experience in a product role. You will join an existing Product Team comprising expereinced POs and BAs. You will be using data insights and research solve real problems, test and learn and delight our users. Our Product Owner is responsible for the taking the vision, planning the roadmap, direction, and its incremental delivery. You will be working directly with a Business Analyst so you can support each other in your work. We use Agile, Scrum and Kanban and will need someone with Agile experience for this role.


The day to day:


  • Engaging with users and business stakeholders to become a product expert and develop an understanding of common challenges.
  • Prioritising the backlog based on value, feedback, dependencies and capacity.
  • Learning and understanding the strategic priorities and how they impact the prioritisation of the backlog based upon factors including value, cost, complexity, risk and market feedback.
  • Developing, presenting and explaining completed features to users, partners and internal teams.
  • Managing the product backlog, including regular refinement, prioritisation and closing of stories, epics and bugs.
  • Data mapping and analysis.
  • Producing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Documenting and assessing user problems to support the design of solutions.
  • Independent learning, developing your knowledge of our products, our industry's landscape and methods and the tools of product management.
  • Working in an Agile way
