Document Controller - Social Housing / Decarbonization Works
Based in Birmingham
Full-Time, Permanent Position
Salary:
£28k-33.5k
We are currently looking for a Document Controller to join a leading Construction Contractor working on an SHDF project within social housing.
Document Controller - Key Responsibilities:
- Act as main contact for all drawing and document control matters
- Check incoming documents for compliance with file naming standards and provide feedback to the creators, offering guidance and storing them in the central document management system
- Manage document management protocols
- Archive historical documentation
- Effectively communicate expectations for document management
- Generate weekly reports on logged information and distribute them
- Handle design technical queries and information distribution
- Maintain and monitor records
- Ensure proper record-keeping for document distribution
- Perform daily administrative tasks related to client systems
- Create regional system usage reports for project teams and System Manager
What we are searching for:
- Demonstrated experience in document control and management toolsets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Background in the construction industry (preferably social housing)
- Familiarity with document management systems
- Knowledge of Information Management procedures
- Aptitude for quickly learning new software and systems
- Skilled in the MS Suite of software
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000.00-£33,500.00 per year
