Who you'll be working for:

'Progressive, passionate, professional' - 525 Accountancy Services Ltd are a highly reputable accountancy firm in the heart of Glasgow's City Centre. With first class customer service at the forefront of their business, they have built strong, loyal connections managing clients' finances and are looking for an apprentice to join their dynamic team.

You will gain a Modern Apprenticeship in Digital Applications at SCQF Level 6 Diploma.


Working hours:

37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)


Salary:

£15,000 per annum


You will be responsible for:


  • Looking after the reception area, including welcoming clients and guests
  • Typing written notes and audio typing
  • Filing and handling client mail forwarding
  • Liaising with HMRC and Companies House via phone
  • Regularly updating the CRM system to ensure information is accurate including adding new clients to all systems
  • Confirming appointments for the Managing Director and Accounts Manager
  • Assisting management to undertake audits
  • Systems used: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word and Teams, Zoom, Xero, IRIS

You will need the following skills:

  • Passion for administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Positive attitude
  • Proactive and able to work autonomously and part of a team

Future prospects:

Progression opportunities are able on review of performance and completion of your apprenticeship. The current Administration Manager started as a QA Apprentice so there is great potential for progression


Important information:

Throughout your apprenticeship you are supported by your skills coach and your account manager.

They work with your line manager to ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

At the end, as well as the valuable experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification.
