Part of the Quarter group, Square Works is an award-winning, creative co-working space based on Berkeley Square in Clifton.

We have recently opened a new section of this space and are looking to expand our facilities team with a
part time Facilities Assistant / Office Cleaning Operative (evening shifts).

Details of the Facilities Assistant / Office Cleaning Operative position:

25-hour contract per week
worked over 5 evenings per week
This is an evening role with your shift starting around 6pm and finishing no later than 10pm on Monday
Friday (there is no weekend work)
Of your 25 hours per week, 20 hours (across 5 shifts) will be spent at Square Works. The additional 5 hours will be spent cleaning Studio 31, another creative studio/office space that we run very nearby Square Works (both premises are on Berkeley Square in Clifton). Your hours at Studio 31 can be tagged onto your existing Square Works shifts on a flexible schedule to be arranged between you and the Facilities Manager
Based at Square Works and Studio 31 on Berkeley Square

- £10.80 per hour

Working independently (key holder) and in a small team
Reporting to the Facilities Manager

What will you be doing as Facilities Assistant / Office Cleaning Operative?:

Cleaning and removing rubbish from the studio office in each building
Cleaning communal kitchens, office spaces and bathrooms
Cleaning public areas
Please note there is a lift at Square Works

Who is our ideal Facilities Assistant / Office Cleaning Operative?:
You are a reliable and fun worker who can work within a small team or independently.

You have great attention to detail and a methodical working approach to ensure that everything that needs to be done gets done You have a good level of English and are a friendly and welcoming member of staff.

Please note that, whilst this role is in the evenings, you may meet our members and interact with them so some customer service skills would be a bonus You will also be physically fit and able to cope with the demands of the role.

The next steps:

Applicants who are successfully shortlisted will be invited to a first-round telephone interview with a member of the HR team.

Success at that stage would lead to a short trial and meeting with the team at Square Works.
