The Role

We are eager to welcome one more fabulous Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our already amazing team here at Darley House.

Our nurses have their own set of shift patterns.

We are aware that no two colleagues' work requirements are the same and so we try and accommodate our rotas and shifts to suit where ever possible, therefore the role we are offering is for between 22 and 40 hours per week, depending on the applicant, this would include 1:5 Saturday mornings with no out of hours.

The successful applicate will join our current 4 registered veterinary nurses in their daily duties, including Nurse Clinics, assisting in the operating theatre, schedule 3 procedures and cleaning.

The salary for this role is up to £29,000 depending on experience.
About Us
We are a well-established, RCVS-accredited, small animal practice in Farnworth, Bolton. A lot of our staff have been here for over 10 years, and our longest-serving members have been here for over 30

We currently have 4 very hard-working registered veterinary nurses, including a Head Nurse with 34 years of experience, 3 super Vets (hoping to become 4), 6 outstanding Reception Administrators, our wonderful Practice Manager and the fabulous Norma who has been our cleaner and tea lady since 1993.

We also have regular visits from specialists performing ultrasonography, cardiac workups, and soft tissue surgeries. We are a small but close team and enjoy each other's company both in and outside of work.

Our latest ten-pin bowling outing went down a storm and we're looking forward to a new face joining us for the next.

Our practice consists of a clean friendly reception area leading to 2 consultation rooms, 2 prep rooms, 1 operating theatre, 1 in-house Lab, a Kennel room, a cattery and an isolation room, plus upstairs we have the stock room, kitchen, offices and a lovely area to sit and relax while eating lunch.

We're also equipped with Digital x-rays, ultrasound, endoscopes, and several Idexx laboratory machines, to name but a few.

We are easily accessible as have close proximity to the M61 and A666 and to the train and bus station.

We also have our own car park.
Applicant Requirements

We are preferably looking for an experienced RVN who is happy to carry out nurse consultations, may be interested in developing their schedule 3 skills and fits in well with our team.
