Hours of work:
Normal hours Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm but may require weekend availability


Salary:
£ 24,000 - £26,000 (dependent on experience)

It is the main company behind the development project of New Era Square, which provides a major new urban destination in the heart of Sheffield.

The New Era project is designed for mixed-use, with the combination of student residential, retails, supermarket, business and commercial units.


About the Role:


We're looking for a hands-on Property Management Assistant to join our Estate Management team, in this role you support the Estate Management team in delivering maintenance, reactive repair and minor works whilst ensuring the health and safety of New Era Square.


Main Responsibilities and Job Duties:


  • Assist with compliance checks, administer all property maintenance & records in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Undertake reactive maintenance tasks including minor plumbing repairs; joinery and carpentry; painting/decorating; replacement of lamps and tubes and required testing
  • Ensure sitebased checks are carried out for their statutory insurance and qualifications; items such as emergency lighting, water temperature testing and fire alarm testing.
  • Ensure the grounds maintenance to the property are well maintained, clean, tidy and hazard free
  • Liaise with subcontractors to carry out servicing and repairs
  • Taking responsibility for supervising the site
  • Moving and handling of equipment/furniture/deliveries
  • Take regular utility meter readings

Essential Criteria:


  • A positive, cando attitude, reliable
  • Dynamic and commonsense approach
  • Joinery, electrical, decorating or plumbing experience/qualifications
  • Building cleaning experience
  • Good knowledge of IT
  • Driving License (preferred)
  • Team player
  • Great organisation skills
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
