Your role -
As a senior member of our Digital Services team, the Digital PMO Lead is responsible for leading, developing and strengthening the coordination of the GMCA's portfolio of projects and programmes, managing governance processes, resource and capacity constraints, stakeholder expectations, and communicating effectively not only within the team and with stakeholders across GMCA but with partner agencies.
This is a key role in our team as GMCA Digital Services leads delivery of both Greater Manchester's Digital Blueprint across the city region's 2.8 million people, and delivery of the GMCA's own digital capabilities - including those needed by GM Fire & Rescue - through collaborative, innovative and effective use of technology and data.
Working with multiple digital and non-digital teams and reporting directly to the GMCA's Chief Information Officer, the position holder contributes to the overall strategic direction of the service and the GMCA's success.

You will be familiar with software that enables you - and the service - to be effective in this capacity.
You will be an effective and adept communicator with extremely well developed interpersonal skills have and the energy to have an impact in a fast moving and complex environment.
