The successful applicant will be taught in all aspects of the machine shop following a structured training programme.

The apprentice will receive their 20% Off-the Job training at Webs Training Ltd 1 day a week within their training facilities based in Beeston, Nottingham.

Your duties will include:

• Setting, maintaining and operating a number of machines including CNC, Five Headed Welder, Quad Welder, Angled saw, Circular Saws, Single Joint Welder
• Working with a range of traditional and powered hand tools
• Producing specifications and technical drawings
• Reading, measuring and marking out to specifications
• Cutting angles and vents
• Working to strict tolerances and problem solving
• Knowledge of the different types of profiles used within the industry
• Assembly of windows and doors
• Fitting of hinges, handles, lock, window restrictors and gaskets
• Opportunity for installation
• Wrapping and packing ready for transportation

On completion of your programme you will achieve an Apprentice Standard Level 2 in General Furniture Manufacturing
